Jewellery Replacement

Once your claim is approved, replacing a lost or damaged piece should feel considered, not rushed. Here's how the process works, and the flexibility you have along the way.

Your Options

Once your insurer establishes a replacement value, you can choose from stock we already hold, a special order piece, or something individually designed and handcrafted in our own workshop, whichever best replaces what you've lost. If you'd like to purchase additional items or upgrade beyond your claimed item, we can also offer a substantial discount in accordance with your insurance contract.

In-Store Credit & Flexibility

You don't have to use your approved claim value all at once. If you'd like more time, or want to stagger your selections, we can liaise with your insurer and issue an in-store credit voucher for the assessed value or remaining balance.

A few things worth knowing about your voucher:

  • Valid for the supply of jewellery or watches only — it can't be exchanged for cash, as required under our contract with your insurer
  • Valid for three years..
  • Can be used by another household member with your permission

Documentation

Replacement jewellery supplied under a claim doesn't usually come with a receipt, since you haven't paid for it directly — instead, we provide a Replacement List detailing all items and their values. Any additional purchases are always receipted. For items with a retail value over $1,000, we also provide an independent valuation from a registered valuer for re-insurance purposes.
